I am not going to validate your excuses

**this blog was originally published May 23, 2013 but was updated on January 17, 2016**

It happens every day…

Every single day amongst lots of positive emails, I receive an e-mail that from what I call an “excuse seller”… What is an excuse seller you ask? It is someone who send and email asking for how to get results but it is always followed with why whatever I have shared won’t work for THEM.

The funny thing is, none of these e-mails are from people that are happy with their current level of health and fitness. None of Screen shot 2013-05-22 at 2.36.47 PMthese e-mails are from people who have TRIED, much less completed, one of my programs — or any program for that matter.

None of these e-mails are from people that actually took my advice and had it not work. They are always from people who want to make a change, and DECIDE that my program or advice will not work for them because of XYZ reason.

NJFit TWEETit: If something hasn’t/isn’t/won’t work for you then why keep doing it? Be open to #CHANGE for #results @NatalieJillFit

If what you are doing is working for you, then keep doing it!

I’m always amazed at the people that ask for help and then say they are going to stick with what they have been doing.  If it is working for you, then why ask for help? Especially if you are just going to shoot it down 🙂

I will never argue with results. I will never try to convince you that my way or some other way is better if you are getting the results you want by doing it your way. However, if your way is not working for you and you TRULY want results, then you MUST be open minded to change.

But please don’t tell me you WANT to change and then ask me my thoughts on your current training, current nutrition or current supplement or “shake” if you don’t really want to hear my answer.  I will never argue if you are happy with your results.  By all means, if what you are doing is working for you KEEP DOING IT!  If not, be open to change or don’t ask for help 🙂

I am not going to validate your excuses

Why ASK for help if you aren’t REALLY open to the answers?  Why do you get mad at me when I tell you that you will have to CHANGE to get the results you desire?  Why would I lead you down the wrong path?

I get that life happens and that some people need a boost to get going.  That is fine….BUT, I am not going to validate your excuses!

natalie jill I am not going to tell you it is ok to keep doing what you have been doing, when you tell me it clearly isn’t working!  What kind of help would that be if I told to to do something that CLEARLY is not working, and probably never has?

I am not going to tell you that you that you can do less work than what is required and still get results.  I am not going to tell you that you can take shortcuts to get there faster.  I am not going to tell you that my programs can be altered to work with what has NOT worked for you before. I am not going to lie to you. I have built my business on BEING REAL and sharing what has helped me…and a ton of other people.

Stop fighting new ideas. Stop fighting change.  Arguing new ideas when your old ways weren’t working for you will NEVER get results. Doing the NEW things will.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result IS insanity!

Change happens and leads to RESULTS when you stop the excuses and look for the SOLUTIONS!  Change involves being OPEN MINDED to new things.

Excuses or Solutions…YOU Decide!!!
