PresentARE WE JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS or are we TRULY EXPERIENCING our days?

I’ve been to this particular state park at least 100 times but I’d never really experienced it like this… let me explain.

I could do the trail up the mountain and down to the beach in 60 minutes flat. I’d grab my sunblock, hat, a podcast in my ear and power through. Up the hill- through the trails and down to the beach.

Workout. Sweat. Podcast.

Do it in under an hour.

Be PresentAnd it’s gorgeous here – but I was typically so head down in my workout, the time and what I was listening to to REALLY take it it.

Yesterday was different.

Went on all the trails I’d never explored there before. The park was crowded with others doing what I normally do there- but these trails? Pretty empty.

What a perfect thing to do for day 29 yesterday of my expansion challenge.

Can’t BELIEVE today is already day 30!
