Yep, I was literally on stage at Camp Be More when I gave this talk. It was such a full circle moment. The last time I spoke on Chalene’s stage, I was nervous, overly caffeinated, and mid-sentence when one of my nipple covers fell right out of my shirt. (Because, of course, I had implants at the time and that thing was the only thing keeping it all together.) VISION:  Picture your future self. What does she look like, wear, feel like? Show up as her now.

ACTIONS:  Only work if they’re layered on top of a strong decision and vision.

FAT = False Assumed Truths. These are beliefs that hold us back. “I’m too old.” “It’s just my genetics.” Let those go.

Be a Health Detective You don’t need a white coat, just curiosity. Ask why. Dig deeper. Advocate for yourself. You’ve got this.

Tactical Fat Loss Tips That Actually Work in Midlife:

  • Eat real, unprocessed food. If it grew or had a face, you’re good.
  • Protein is queen. Aim for 30–50g per meal.
  • No more grazing. You’re not a cow. Give your body a break between meals.
  • Modified fasting. Aim for 12.5+ hours overnight. Let your body rest and repair.
  • Carbs aren’t the enemy. Choose fruits and veggies first.
  • Ditch the inflammation trio. Grains, dairy, and sugar. Just try a break and see.
  • Say no to seed oils. They’re in everything. Be that person who asks about the oil.
  • Sleep like it’s your job. If you’re waking up at 3am, something’s off. Start asking why.
